2. Information Processed Locally
To provide its features, UpLens reads the content of Upwork job listing pages you visit while the extension is active. This includes publicly displayed job details such as budget, client history, and job descriptions. This processing happens locally in your browser to generate insights, quality scores, and red-flag indicators. This information is not sent to us and is not shared with third parties.
3. Local Storage & Settings
UpLens may store your preferences and settings (such as filter options and display choices) using your browser's local storage. This data remains on your device, is used solely to remember your configuration, and can be cleared at any time by removing the extension or clearing your browser data.
4. Permissions We Request
UpLens requests only the permissions necessary for its core functionality. Access to Upwork pages is used exclusively to read and enhance job listings you are already viewing. We do not use permissions to monitor other websites or activity unrelated to the extension's purpose.
5. Third-Party Services
UpLens does not integrate advertising networks, analytics trackers, or third-party data brokers. The extension is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Upwork Global Inc. All Upwork trademarks belong to their respective owners.
6. Data Security
Because UpLens processes information locally and does not transmit personal data to external servers, your information is not exposed to network-based risks associated with data transmission or remote storage. You remain in control of any locally stored settings.
7. Children's Privacy
UpLens is intended for professional use by adults and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
